How SDV, the Liquid Organization and TPLE are connected

Inspired by the article "How the Porsche board wants to overtake the competition with AI" (manager magazin 11/2024), I thought about how the Liquid Organization approach fits in with our TPLE concept. I quickly came to the conclusion that TPLE is the ideal enabler for such a Liquid Organization.

The article was written by Margret Hucko based on an interview with Sajjad Khan. Sajjad describes a target image of a new type of company that, following the analogy of water, can change flexibly, quickly and scalably.

Quote: "The old corporate world works in a very process-oriented and disciplined manner in departments, precisely organized with solid and dashed lines. This works with a strong orientation towards the vehicle hardware and classic development processes. In the Liquid Organization, on the other hand, everyone involved works together - no silos, little hierarchy, lots of content."

It is precisely in such a target scenario that the organization needs a fixed point around which all other activities are grouped. And this is exactly where the central TPLE database comes into play:

TPLE as a central backbone for all product-related information

Every department that has a connection to the product uses the corresponding data products from the data mesh infrastructure offered by TPLE to continue working with it. Likewise, all relevant and existing IT solutions are offered as data products so that they can be related to and further processed in TPLE.

As you can see in the screenshots from the TPLE Manager, it is possible that:

• different areas can work with the TPLE database simultaneously

• every change is documented

• each data object is versioned

This means that employees from different departments can always access up-to-date and transparent product data.

TPLE is the enabler for the Software-Defined Vehicle

Through complete transparency and consistent end-to-end versioning logic, TPLE enables the operationalization of the Liquid Organization concept in order to ultimately bring the SDV onto the road.
